MUSIC NEWS: Shots Fired at T.I. Concert


UPDATE: 2:30pm PST

It is being reported that Troy Ave, who was wounded in the concert shootout, has been arrested in connection with the incident.  Troy Ave, from Brooklyn, NY, may have accidentally shot himself when a beef with Maino erupted into shots backstage at Irvine Plaza.

Four shot. One dead. Shots rang out at a T.I. concert in New York City on May 25, 2016.  One of the injured was rapper Troy Ave who was slated to perform that night.  Unfortunately, Troy Ave’s friend and fellow rapper, Ronald McPhatter, a.k.a. B$B Banga, age 33, died later at Beth Israel.

Presently, NYPD does not have a clear suspect or suspects, according to William Aubrey, the NYPD Manhattan Chief of Detectives, but they are recovering and reviewing evidence.

Video from a concert goer shows the mayhem that erupted after concertgoers heard the gunfire.
